Did you know Gundam turns 30? Well, now you do! It seems that because Gundam turns 30, the government in Tokyo, Japan is creating a special statue to mark the occasion. A 1:1 scale replica of the RX-78-2 Gundam that appeared in the very first Gundam series is currently under construction. In the end the statue will rise 11 meters high, or just over 36 ft high.
