It seems Disney is bringing the Charles Dickens classic to the big screen for what has to be the book’s 20th time. This isn’t even Disney’s first time, they did bring us Mickey’s Christmas Carol in 1983. Disney and director Robert Zemeckis (The Polar Express & Beowulf) bring us Jim Carrey as Ebenezer Scrooge (in all three incarnations of young, middle-aged, and old man) and the three ghosts who visit good old Mr. Bah Humbug himself. Jim Carrey isn’t the only cast member pulling multiple roles, Gary Oldman comes to the screen as Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim, and Jacob Marley. Trailer below, enjoy!
A Christmas Carol hits theaters November 6th in full 3D glory. It stars Jim Carrey, Gary Oldman, Cary Elwes, Bob Hoskins, Colin Firth, Robin Wright Penn, Tom Hanks and Michael J. Fox.
