In the future, a paraplegic war veteran is brought to the planet Pandora which is inhabited by the Na’vi. The Na’vi is a humanoid race with their own language and culture, but the people of Earth find themselves at odds with the Na’vi. In order to walk, he takes part in becoming a genetically-bred human-Na’vi hybrid known as Avatar. Torn between both lives, he is forced to choose sides in an epic battle that will decide the fate of an entire world.

The film comes to theaters this December 16, 2009 and stars Sam Worthington, Zoë Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Stephen Lang, Joel David Moore, Giovanni Ribisi, CCH Pounder, Dileep Rao, and Matt Gerald.
