According to Variety, the five original cast members (John DiMaggio, Billy West, Katey Sagal, Maurice LaMarche, and Tress MacNeille) of Futurama have arrived to an agreement with 20th Century Fox to return for the 26 new episodes for Comedy Central. Like everything in life, the center of the dispute was over money. The reboot will operate at a lower budget, seeking lower production, writing, and lead times.

Either way, this is great news. I have always loved Futurama over its predecessor The Simpsons.

Original Story - According the folks at Collider.com, the answer is yes. Purely rumor, but it seems that Cartoon Network has ordered 13 new episodes for a show that had its last new episode in August of 2003. I personally have always been a huge fan of Futurama, and would love for this to be totally true. I will even go on to say that Futurama had a bigger presence in my heart than its currently still running behemoth of a predecessor, The Simpsons.
