The Wolfman, is a remake of the 1941 horror classic. Keeping with a similar plotline of the original, it is set in the late 1880s. Lawrence Talbot (Benicio del Toro) returns home to his father (Anthony Hopkins) following the disappearance of his brother. Talbot had been estranged from his family, stemming from the trauma caused by his mother’s death as a child. Following his brother’s disappearance, Talbot hunts down a murderer, which happens to be a werewolf, hence the curse is passed on.

The Wolfman is directed by Joe Johnston and stars Benicio del Toro, Anthony Hopkins, Emily Blunt, and Hugo Weaving. It howls into theaters February 12, 2010.
