The official website for Kick-Ass has just put out a new poster, and I like it. A very fitting montage for the characters. Can’t wait for it to hit the theaters! Bring on Hit Girl!

Kick-Ass stars Nicolas Cage, Aaron Johnson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Chloe Moretz and kicks its way into theaters on April 16, 2010. The film is based on the comic book series of the same name written by Mark Millar and illustrated by John Romita, Jr.

Check out the leaked photos from the set of Predators, featuring the Black Super Predators! The photos make their way from the AVPGalaxy Forum, and appear to have been taken by actor Oleg Taktarov, who is playing the character Nikolai n the film. If you keep an eye on the photos below, you will even get to see 2 with Sam Winston’s original creation. It is nice that the reboot seems to be trying to keep with the image of the original Predator series.

Predators is produced by Robert Rodriguez and directed by Nimród Antal, & stars Adrien Brody, Topher Grace, Laurence Fishburne, and Danny Trejo. It comes to theaters this July 7th.

The A-Team stars Liam Neeson (Col. John “Hannibal” Smith), Bradley Cooper (Lt. Templeton “Face” Peck), Sharlto Copley (H.M. “Howling Mad”), and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (Sergeant Bosco Albert “Bad Attitude” Baracus). The film is scheduled to open on June 6th, 2010.

The folks over at AICN certainly feel confident, from one of their sources, that Sam Raimi’s next project will in fact be World of Warcraft. The biggest clue comes from word that “the phone lines were burning between a certain legendary locale and Raimi’s folks about firing up the furnaces to forge the weapons of war.” So… Legendary Pictures is currently behind the World of Warcraft movie project, which of course is all about war. With the fan base WOW has, this would be huge, as well as the world visually stunning on the heels of Avatar.

So you might have seen Amanda Seyfried make out with Megan Fox not too long ago on the web for Jessica’s Body, of course since you didn’t see it in the theaters. Well now you get to check out her hotness once again in the upcoming Chloe, where she shows not only her lovelies (in the trailer no less), but makes out with both Julianne Moore & Liam Neeson. Enjoy!

Chloe is a remake of the French thriller Nathalie, and centers around on a married woman (Julianne Moore) who hires a prostitute (Amanda Seyfried) to find out whether her husband (Liam Neeson) is cheating on her. Of course though, like any drama, nothing is that simple. Watch it in theaters this March 26.

Well, if you believe the words coming from Vin Diesel’s own Facebook page, then we can expect 2 more films. Now personally, I love the last Fast & Furious film, and wouldn’t mind seeing a few more. Check out Vin’s words below…

So Sony Pictures has announced that the current plan for Spider-Man 4 has been scrapped and the studio is moving forward on a complete reboot. Yup, talk about totally throwing a left curve ball and starting all over.

Peter Parker is going back to high school when the next Spider-Man hits theaters in the summer of 2012. Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios announced today they are moving forward with a film based on a script by James Vanderbilt that focuses on a teenager grappling with both contemporary human problems and amazing super-human crises.

The new chapter in the Spider-Man franchise produced by Columbia, Marvel Studios and Avi Arad and Laura Ziskin, will have a new cast and filmmaking team. Spider-Man 4 was to have been released in 2011, but had not yet gone into production.

“A decade ago we set out on this journey with Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire and together we made three Spider-Man films that set a new bar for the genre. When we began, no one ever imagined that we would make history at the box-office and now we have a rare opportunity to make history once again with this franchise. Peter Parker as an ordinary young adult grappling with extraordinary powers has always been the foundation that has made this character so timeless and compelling for generations of fans. We’re very excited about the creative possibilities that come from returning to Peter’s roots and we look forward to working once again with Marvel Studios, Avi Arad and Laura Ziskin on this new beginning,” said Amy Pascal, co-chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment.

“Working on the Spider-Man movies was the experience of a lifetime for me. While we were looking forward to doing a fourth one together, the studio and Marvel have a unique opportunity to take the franchise in a new direction, and I know they will do a terrific job,” said Sam Raimi.

“We have had a once-in-a-lifetime collaboration and friendship with Sam and Tobey and they have given us their best for the better part of the last decade.This is a bittersweet moment for us because while it is hard to imagine Spider-Man in anyone else’s hands, I know that this was a day that was inevitable,” said Matt Tolmach, president of Columbia Pictures, who has served as the studio’s chief production executive since the beginning of the franchise. “Now everything begins anew, and that’s got us all tremendously excited about what comes next. Under the continuing supervision of Avi and Laura, we have a clear vision for the future of Spider-Man and can’t wait to share this exciting new direction with audiences in 2012.”

“Spider-Man will always be an important franchise for Sony Pictures and a fresh start like this is a responsibility that we all take very seriously,” said Michael Lynton, Chairman and CEO of Sony Pictures. “We have always believed that story comes first and story guides the direction of these films and as we move onto the next chapter, we will stay true to that principle and will do so with the highest respect for the source material and the fans and moviegoers who deserve nothing but the best when it comes to bringing these stories and characters to life on the big screen.”

The studio will have more news about Spider-Man in 2012 in the coming weeks as it prepares for production of the film.

Back in October, I mentioned how ANN had given a heads up to the best news I heard all year. The only manga I actually faithfully follow, Gantz, was coming to the big screen as 2 live action films in the winter and spring of 2011. The features stars Kazunari Ninomiya (a member of the Japanese boy band Arashi) and Ken’ichi Matsuyama (best known for playing ‘L’ in the 2006 films Death Note & Death Note: The Last Name). Filming started in November and is expected to end this coming April. Well now we have a teaser trailer to show for it.

Revolving around primarily a pair of high school students, Kei Kurono and Masaru Kato, Gantz follows the story of various people who have died, after which they are summoned to a room where they are forced to partake on deadly missions. On these missions, they must kill all aliens in a certain region to be able to return to their normal lives until they are summoned again. Definitely a series not for the faint of heart due to its extreme violence and sexual nature.
